"Note.— in 1899 the two Wards ot St. Peter and St. John were divided into three Sanitary Districts, St. Peter's, St. John's and All Saints'.

The Registrar-General had up to 1904 refused to give information as to the locality of the births, and therefore I am unable to give the number of births in each Ward for this and the preceding vears
