During the year 84 plans of drainage works to new and existing buildings
were submitted and approved.
SEWAGE DISPOSAL AND SEWERAGE.
The disposal of sewage in London is the responsibility of the London
County Council, and the position as far as Poplar is concerned is generally
satisfactory.
