In addition to the grant to the Central Council for Health Education,
the following grant was made:—
To the Industrial Health Education Society, £2 2s.
Two public meetings (with film displays), arranged by the British
Social Hygiene Council, were held at Poplar Town Hall and Bow Baths
respectively.
' 'National Health Campaign.''
The Public Health and Maternity and Child Welfare Committee
agreed to co-operate with the Central Council for Health Education in
the display and distribution of literature. Further, arrangements were
made for certain of the Maternity and Child Welfare Clinics and the
Tuberculosis Dispensary to be open on certain days to afford the general
public an opportunity of seeing the work carried out.
