In addition to definite cure, or relief, of distressing symptoms,
mothers often tell us of the added sense of well-being they experience
under ultra violet rays.
I hope more mothers will make time to come on their own account.
Too many, while sparing no effort for the children, persistently ignore
their own health. I appreciate, however, the practical home difficulties
of attendance in many cases.
In conclusion, I thank all concerned in the work of the Light Clinics
for their steady interest and aid. I am deeply indebted to the Sister-inCharge
for her unvarying devotion to the needs, comfort and happiness
of children and mothers, and I much appreciate the efficient running of
the Department in her hands.
E. M. LAYMAN.
