Of the 78 dwelling-houses found to be in a state unfit for human
habitation (under heading 1 (3) of Housing Statistics, page 47):
I was rebuilt by owners after they were interviewed to show cause
why a Demolition Order should not be made.
74 were included in Areas dealt with under the Housing Act.
