of the Act of 1925.
Of the 31 dwelling-houses found to be in a state unfit for human
habitation (under heading 1 (3) of Table on page 49):
1 was demolished.
1 Demolition Order quashed on appeal.
8 were dealt with as a "Clearance Area.''
9 were dealt with as a "Clearance Area."
12 were represented to the London County Council.

1. Survey of District.
In order to carry out its responsibilities under the Housing Acts and
with a view to ascertaining the actual conditions of properties and the
need of further housing accommodation, the Council, with the approval
of the Ministry of Health and the London County Council, appointed
two sanitary inspectors for house-to-house inspection. They commenced
duties in August.
