The following deaths have been included in the Mortality Statistics of the Borough, in accordance with the Registrar-General's rules relating to "Transferable Deaths."

INQUESTS AND DEATHS FROM VIOLENCE.
The number of inquests registered was 246. From this total
must be deducted 72 of non-residents, and 37 added of residents who
died outside the Borough, the nett total being 211.
