of Fish, 2 pecks of Peas.

For number of premises in the Borough where food is sold or prepared
for sale, see Table A, page 57.
1,386 visits were paid to these premises during the year, and the
Sanitary Regulations under the London County Council (General
Powers) Act, 1908, Section 8, were enforced.
Want of cleanliness was found in 68 instances, and 60 other defects
existed.
233 intimations were served, which in 11 cases were followed up
by Statutory notices, and five final notices were served.
MILK SHOPS.
At the end of the year there were in the Borough 138 registered
premises (including 10 cow-houses where milk is sold) and 4 premises
where sterilised milk also is sold. These milk shops were kept under
observation.
