BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATIONS.
1,312 swabbings from doubtful cases of diphtheria were examined.
Of these 151 gave positive results (11.5 prr cent).
No blood specimens from doubtful cases of enteric fever were
examined.
DIPHTHERIA ANTI-TOXIN.
172,000 units of diphtheria anti-toxin were issued to medical
practitioners during the year.
