The Health Visitors from the Royal College of St. Katharine
assisted us during the three days.
Lectures for Health Visitors, Mid-wives and Welfare Workers.
—These lectures, given by Dr. H. K. Waller and Dr. A. E. Hamilton
at the lioyal College of St. Katharine, were a great help to us all.
Lady Barrett's lecture on October 1st on Ante-Natal Care, showed
how clearly she understood the mothers' difficulties, and spurred us on
to further efforts in Ante-Natal work.
The mothers' Christmas parties took place again this year, thanks
to the kindness of the Clinic staff and the many friends who remember
us regularly each year.
The new Clinic at Simpson's Road was not opened until January,
1926. but I cannot close this report without mentioning an event which
has given such entire satisfaction to all concerned. After the dull
quarters at Shiibutt Street and the overcrowded condition at 134, Hiirh
Street, we fully appreciate the comfort of working under such ideal
conditions and; needless to say, the mothers and children are equally
appreciative.
I wish to thank everyone for the care and trouble that has been
taken in the planning and erection of this building.
Our thanks are also due to the voluntary workers who so kindly
assist at the Clinics.
