Margarine Act, 1887, Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1899,
and the Butter and Margarine Act, 1907.
No applications were made for registration of premises for carrying
on the business of wholesale dealer in margarine, or of butter blending.
The proprietor of an unregistered butter-blending factory was
cautioned. Application for a certificate of registration was subsequently
made and the premises were registered early in 1926.
The following is the number of premises in each Sub-District of the Borough registered under the above-mentioned Acts, up to and including 31st December, 1925, viz.:—
