DRESSER OF FUR SKINS.
The bvelaws made by the London County Council respecting the
business of a dresser of fur skins were allowed by the Ministry of
Health on the 22nd March, 1922.
BAKEHOUSES.
Inspections.
The Bakehouses throughout the Borough were inspected at least
twice during the year.
There are 86 Bakehouses in use in the Borough of Poplar, 29
Poplar (including 6 factory bakehouses), 35 Bromley (including 15
factory bakehouses), 22 Bow (including 6 factory bakehouses). See
Table A, page 72, number made up to end of year.
There are 26 underground bakehouses in the Borough, 6 Poplar,
14 Bromley, and 10 Bow.
Cleansing was necessary in the various bakehouses on 67 occasions.
Eleven other nuisances were found.
Seven bakehouses were disused at time of visit.
