Bromley and 0 Bow.
ACUTE POLIO-MYELITIS, OR ACUTE POLIOENCEPHALITIS,
AND ACUTE ENCEPHALITIS
LETHARGICA
Two cases of Acute Polio-myelitis were notified (1 Poplar and
1 Bromley).
One case of Polio-encephalitis occurred in Bromley Sub-District.
Patient died at home.
No case of Encephalitis Lethargica occurred.
* Posterior basal meningitis is included in the term " cerebro-spinal fever," which
does not include meningitis due to tuberculosis, syphilis, middle ear disease, or injury.
