The rates in Tables IV, V, VI, and VII for 1915—1920, were
calculated upon the populations estimated by the Registrar General.
The following estimates of population have been adopted in the General
Register Office, Somerset House, for the calculation of the death rate and
birth rate of the Borough for the year 1920:
