The Clinic at Allanmouth Road is not a success—there may be
other causes operating, but the chief one is the cold, miserable atmosphere
of the weighing room.
The Ante-natal Clinics also are not a success, at least, as far as
ante-natal work is concerned. The attendance of expectant mothers
at all clinics would not make one decent session.
The inquiries in the milk cases were not test cases, all the statements
as to wages were doubtful.
The usual Baby Show was organised in connection with the Mayor's
Garden Party.
Our very grateful thanks are due to Midwife Hulett for the loan of
a sewing machine. We now have one of our own, presented by the
Mayor's Garden Party Committee, to whom our very hearty thanks are
also due.
