PERSONS OF UNKNOWN ADDRESSES INCLUDED
IN THE MORTALITY STATISTICS.
The following deaths have been included in the Mortality Statistics of
the respective Sub-districts as there is no reason for believing that such deaths
will be shown in the Mortality Tables of some other District:—

20th June. River Thames, off Stewart Wharf.Mate of schooner " Jar-row " of Riga, of 50, Bremner Straus, Riga, Russia.M., 27Violent. Suffocation by drowning through a boat which he was in on the River Thames overturning. Acc. Inq.
19th July. Mill wall Dock.Ship's fireman, of Germany.M., about 25.Violent. Suffocation by drowning through falling into the dock whilst going from the s.s. "Slawentzity" to the dolphin. Acc. Inq.
21st Nov. s.s. " Mashona," West India Docks.Engine room store keeper, a native of India.M., 68.Found dead. Fibroid phthisis. Nat. P.M. Inq.
Bromley (Sub-District).
2nd Sep. River Lee, off Lloyd's Point.UnknownM., 35.Found dead. Suffocation by drowning. No evidence. Inq.
28th Sept. Lime-house Cut, off Bell's Wharf.Unknown parentage.M., about 20 mins.Violent. Strangulation with a tape tied round the neck. Murder. P.M. Inq.
Bow (Sub-District).
22nd Feb. Duckett's Canal, off Gun-maker's Bridge.Unknown parentage.M., about 5 mins.Found dead. Want of attention at birth, but under what circumstances the evidence fails to prove. P.M. Inq.
11th Aug. River Lee, off Bow Bridge.Unknown.M., about 45Violent. Suffocation by drowning. Suicide whilst of unsound mind. Inq.
