The Board have at the same time informed the authorities
of the Dispensary that, as it is contemplated that in London
arrangements for the provision of dispensaries will ordinarily be
made by the Metropolitan Borough Councils, they should, if they
desire the period of approval extended, communicate with the
Council of the Borough on the subject.

Assistant Secretary.
The Town Clerk,
Poplar.

for the provision of a Dispensary in view of the fact that the work of the

Institution, inspected the building, and been made acquainted with the
inside and outside administrative arrangements. The Dispensary, as
carried on at the present time, appears to comply with the requirements
of the " Interim Report of the Departmental Committee on Tuberculosis,"
appointed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer. The twenty years' lease
of the Bow Road premises was purchased by the Executive Committee
of the Institution, and a sum of money sufficient to pay the ground rent
during the period of the lease, and which sum will likewise cover any
expenses at the end of the lease, has also been invested in the names of
two trustees. The Executive Committee consists as follows :—
