Council, on the advice of the Medical Officer, may take measures for
disinfection of infected articles or premises, supply of assistance, facilities
and articles which will tend to diminish the risk of infection, loan or
otherwise of utensils, etc.
The regulations came into operation throughout England and Wales
on 1st May.
