Notifications.
Upon notification of a case of pulmonary tuberculosis under the
regulations, the premises are visited and a card is left containing instructions
to the patient and friends as to precautions to be taken by them. A
spitting cup and bottle are loaned where necessary.
The total number of notifications received during the years 1909,
1910 and 1911, under the various forms of "The Public Health (Tuberculosis)
Begulations, 1908," was as follows :—
