ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
Notifications; Institutions; Errors in Diagnosis; Bacteriological
Examinations; Infectious Diseases in Milk Shops and on
Homeworkers' Premises.
There were 324 notifications of infectious diseases in Poplar, 427 in
Bromley, and 183 in Bow, making a total of 934 for the Borough of
Poplar; these do not include 68 second notifications.
In the above figures no deductions have been made for cases removed
to the Metropolitan Asylums Board's hospitals, which were certified as
not having a notifiable disease.
