Conference: Provision of Sanatorium Accommodation.
Together with the Chairman of the Public Health and Housing
Committee, Mr. Councillor Warren, and the Rev. Councillor Dawson, the
Medical Officer of Health attended a Conference of Representatives of the
City and Metropolitan Borough Councils to consider the question of
provision of Sanatorium accommodation for persons of the working classes
in the Metropolis suffering from tuberculosis, such institution to be
supported by a charge upon the several Metropolitan Boroughs.
The Conference was held in the Caxton Hall, Westminster, on
Wednesday, 25th May.
The following motions were carried:—
