ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
Notifications; Institutions; Workmen's Compensation Act and
Dangerous Infectious Diseases—Proposed Inclusion; Errors in
Diagnosis; Bacteriological Examinations; Infectious Diseases in
Milk Shops and on Homeworkers' Premises; Oaths Act, 1909.
There were 481 notifications of infectious diseases in Poplar, 462 in
Bromley, and 246 in Bow, making a total of 1189 for the Borough of
Poplar; these do not include 66 second notifications.
In the above figures no deductions have been made for cases removed
to the Metropolitan Asylums Board's hospitals, which were certified as
not having a notifiable disease.
