ADDENDUM, 10th JUNE, 1909.
ELECTROLYTIC DISINFECTANT
(See pages 80 to 84).
Depôts.
During the printing of this Report the following recommendation of
the Public Health and Housing Committee was received and adopted by
the Council:—
"We have considered complaints made at meetings of the
Council of insufficient centres for distribution of disinfectants,
especially in North Bow. The Medical Officer of Health has obtained
the offer of rooms at 37, Trego Road and a shed at 97, Stebondale
Street, Cubitt Town, for the purpose of additional distributing centres,
at a rental of 4s. per week in each case. The opening of these
depots for half-days would involve the employment of one additional
man."
We recommend—
"(d) That additional distributing centres for disinfectants
be opened at North Bow and Cubitt Town, as suggested."
Therefore there are now seven depots in the Borough as follow:—
Poplar.
Bickmore Street (High Street) 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
