Drain Reconstnoctions.
The drains of 162 premises have been tested with either smoke or
scent tests and in 128 cases found to be defective.
During the year the drains of the following premises were taken out
and reconstructed, and where practicable, in order to comply with the
bye-laws of the London County Council and Borough Council were
intercepted, ventilated and provided with mean3 of access for clearing in
times of stoppages, the whole being thoroughly tested before being passed
as sound :—
