1908, and it seems that unless the Government take it up there is little
prospect of the Bill becoming law. The Bill will be reintroduced during

CUSTOMS AND INLAND REVENUE
ACTS, 1890-1.
Cap. 8, Sect. 26 (2).
REVENUE ACT, 1903.
3 Edw. 7, Cap. 46.
Rothbury Buildings, Bow—Cancelling Certificate.
Rothbury Buildings, Bow, were found to be in a most insanitary
condition; there was also no proper and sufficient supply of water* with
no adequate washing accommodation. The Public Health and Housing
Committee directed that the Board of Inland Revenue be informed of the
facts and that exemption under the Acts should no longer exist. The
Board of Inland Revenue thereupon treated the certificate as cancelled.
At the time of writing this report the buildings are unoccupied,
documents as to the defects having been served on the owner.
