Coroner's Court and Mortuary Accommodation.
The question of the provision of suitable mortuary accommodation
in connection with a coroner's court for the Borough, which has been
under consideration during the past 16 years, has now reached a position
in which the present unsatisfactory arrangements will very shortly be
discarded and a suitable mortuary and coroner's court provided. Plans
have been prepared to build on the Cottage Street site and the Local
Government Board inquiry is being awaited.
