The 32 cases in Poplar were notified from 27 premises, the 39
cases in Bromley from 34 premises, and the 22 cases in Bow were
notified from 21 premises; in the first instance 10 house drains
were found defective, in the second 6, and in the third 1, the
smoke test being used. So that the 93 cases in the Borough were
notified from 82 houses, and the drains were defective in 17
instances.
Twenty-three cases in Poplar, 35 in Bromley, and 17 in Bow
were removed to various hospitals, as follows: —
