The above three cases were nurses of the Hospital.

Of the 603 patients notified in Poplar, 264 were removed to
hospitals; of the 951 in Bromley, 460 were isolated, and of the
525 in Bow 286 were removed, so that of a total of 2079 notifiable
diseases in the Borough 1010 patients had been removed from
their homes.
Respecting the removal of patients to the Hospitals of the
Metropolitan Asylums Board the following letter, dated the 1st of
September, was received from the Clerk of that Authority:—
"Representations having been made to the Managers as to the difficulties
experienced in obtaining the removal of patients to hospital after this office
is closed at 8 p.m., I have now to inform you that, as an experiment, the
Managers have decided to keep the Ambulance Department open daily until
midnight for six months from the 5th instant. 1 shall be glad if you will
communicate this information to all the Officers of your Council concerned,"
