The Committee were of opinion section 110 (5) of the Factory
and Workshop Act, 1901, should be amended, so that home work
on wearing apparel may be prohibited where measles or other
infectious disease, to which any of the infectious diseases clauses
of the Public Health (London) Act have been applied by
order of the London County Council, exists in the same manner
as in the case of the infectious diseases specified in section 55 (8)
of the Public Health (London) Act.
The Committee recommended the Council "That the Council
concur in this opinion, and the representations on the subject
be made to the Home Secretary, the President of the Local
Government Board and the London County Council."

Diarrhoea alone or in combination with some other cause of ill-defined
nature; and also deaths certified as from
Epidemic Enteritis;
Zymotic Enteritis;
Epidemic Diarrhoea. Summer Diarrhœ;
Dysentery and Dysenteric Diarrhœa;
Choleraic Diarrhoea, Cholera, Cholera Nostras (in the absence of
Asiatic Cholera).
Under the heading of "Enteritis" are included those certified as from
Gastro-enteritis, Muco-enteritis and Gastric catarrh.
