ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
Notifications, Hospital Accommodation and Outworkers.
There were 1012 notifications of infectious diseases in Poplar,
1346 in Bromley, and 660 in Bow, making a total of 3018 for the
Borough of Poplar ; these do not include 168 second notifications.
In the above figures, no deductions have been made for cases
removed to the Metropolitan Asylums Board's hospitals, which were
certified as not having a notifiable disease.

Of the 1,012 patients notified in Poplar, 484 were removed to
hospitals; of the 1,346 in Bromley, 649 were isolated, and of the
660 in Bow 372 were removed, so that of a total of 3,018 notifiable
diseases in the Borough 1,505 patients had been removed from their
homes.
