A new Estate, the St. Helier, is being built at Morden, Surrey, consisting of approximately
843 acres.
The estate is served by the City and South London Tube, which will afford quick travel
and ease of access for the earning members of Paddington families whose work, in most cases,
lies in the West of London. It is anticipated that a large number of applications will be
received.
The following analysis of 350 of the cases awaiting accommodation on the Watling Estate, Hendon, gives some indication of the urgent need for the provision of further housing accommodation.
