In addition 14 cases were notified which had previously been reported as " Suspect."
Of the 151 deaths recorded last year as due to pulmonary tuberculosis, 75 occurred at the
patients' homes (34 of males and 41 of females) and 76 in institutions (45 of males and 31 of
females). The proportion of deaths in institutions was equal to 50.3 per cent, of the total
deaths, as compared with 49.3 per cent, in 1913 and 53.8 per cent, in 1912. In the following
statement the numbers and percentages of deaths in the various classes of institutions are
shown for the past five years.
