MEASLES.
measles" came to the knowledge of the Department. The quarterly totals shown in the
subjoined statement have been taken from the weekly tabulations, and include a certain number
of cases of "German measles" which do not appear in the corrected annual totals.

The morbidity of the disease last year was 2.76 per 1,000 persons of all ages, as compared
with 8.71 in 1913 and 9.81 in 1912, and an average of 9.75. (See below.) The morbidity rates for
the individual Wards will be found in Table 19.
