So far the question of housing has been considered simply as one of numbers, whereas it
should be one of accommodation. For the full consideration of that point information would be
required of the sexes and ages of the occupants, the sizes, structure, &c., of the buildings, and of
many other factors which are not furnished through the census. Much of the required
