It will be noted that last year's rates for three of the four northern Wards were in excess
of the "standard" rates. The variations between the "corrected" rates for 1905 and the
"mean corrected" for 1901-04 show considerable irregularities.
In Table 12 the recorded rates for 1905 and the mean rates for 1901-04 for the Adjacent
Districts will be found. The corrected rates are given in Table 28.
The local rate for last year was lower than those for 3 of the 5 Districts, a somewhat
unusual occurrence. The majority of the rates for 1905 were below the respective
mean rates.
The deaths of residents of the Borough have been tabulated according to site of disease
in Table 29.
