The deaths numbered 50 last year, having been 15 in 1904 and 53 in 1903.
The foregoing figures may be stated thus:—
In 1903 240 cases among males, with 23 deaths; 293 among females, 30 deaths.

The 540 cases occurred in 302 houses (average l.6 per house). In 1903 the average was 1.8, and, in 1904, 2.0. The numbers of multiple infections are given below:—
