(iv)—Ice Creams: Under the London County Council (General Powers) Act, 1902, Part
VIII (Ss. 42 to 44) the following special provisions came into force in November last:—
(a) Prohibiting the manufacture and storage of ice-cream in any place where there is a drain
opening, or in any living or sleeping room.
(b) Requiring the proper protection of such commodity from infection or contamination.
(c) Requiring the notification of all cases of infectious illness among persons employed in the
business or living or working on the premises.
(d) Requiring street barrows to be legibly marked with the name and address of the person
making the ice-cream.
