H. P.M., 4 yrs.S.F.June 13thSept. 19thR. P. (f., 3 years) taken ill with S. F. on 23rd Sept. H. P. and R. P. slept together night of 19th. H. P. then some inflammation of gums. H. P. seen 25th Sept., all clear. No evidence of failure of disinfection.
T. W.M. 11 yrs.S.F.Aug. 24t.hNov. 4thE. W. (f., 2 years) ill with S. F. on 8th Nov., A. W. (f., 8 years) on 9th Nov. E. W. had been confined to house for 3 weeks prior to 8th Nov., with whooping cough. T. W., seen on 12th Nov., had scaly patches on chest and back, dry eczema, otherwise clear. T. W. slept witli A. W. on night of 4th Nov. Street and school free from infection No evidence of failure in disinfection.
F. S. W. S. M. S.F., 10 yrs. M.. 4 yrs. F., 9 yrsS. F. >»| Sept. 18th) Oct. 2nd fNov. 25thM. S. (f, 12 years) sickened with S. F on 29th Nov. F., W., and M. S. seen on 1st Dec. F and W. quite clear, M. desquamating slightly on toes, and had some herpes at angle of mouth. M. seen next day by Dr. Bruce (for M. A. B.) and re-admitted to hospital. No evidence of failure of disinfection.
A. C.F., 7 yrs.S. F.Oct. 15thDec. 4thJ. C. (m , 4 years) sickened with S. F. 7th Dec. A. C. seen 11th Dec., free from desquamation, but some discharge from the nose, with crusts in nostrils, and fissure under lobes of ears. No evidence of failure of disinfection.

* The children were in each instance examined by the Medical Officer of Health, after their return from Hospital.
