A one-day symposium on Health Education in Schools with an
exhibition of material and help available to teachers in the
area was well attended in March. The Section is gradually
increasing the aid it can give to schools on all aspects of
health education and home safety. At the end of the year it
was decided to appoint an extra health educator to specialise in
subjects concerning inter-personal relationships and
responsibility in relationships between the sexes.
