SCHOOL MEDICAL INSPECTION
The figures provide an analysis of routine and non-routine medical
inspections with, for routine inspections, the percentage attendance
of parents and care committee representatives and the overall figures
for prophylaxis. They also show the proportion of children found with
unsatisfactory physical conditions, and the percentage referred for
treatment of all defects, and of defects other than vision.
The statistics quoted in this section have been supplied by the Inner London Education Authority and are based on a school roll of 46,418 as at May 1972.
