Commenting on the year's work, Dr. J. M. Morgan, director of the
south-east London mass x-ray service, states :—
"Of the six cases of active tuberculosis found, five were discovered
among those not previously x-rayed within five years. A total of six
cases of bronchial carcinoma were found, two being women. The figures
are approximately average for a borough of this type."
