ASSISTANCE TO HOUSEHOLDERS IN THE EVENT OF AN EPIDEMIC
A comprehensive scheme was prepared in accordance with
Ministry of Health Circular 196/45 for the provision of medical
and nursing care and also domestic help to householders if an
epidemic such as Influenza occurred. Fortunately circumstances
did not arise to require the scheme to be put into operation.

The number of new cases notified during the year 1945 and the number of deaths (together with comparative figures for the previous year) were as follows:-
