Nursing in the Home.
The cases nursed during 1935 and the number of visits made, are shown in the following table : —

Midwives.
The London County Council supplied the information that 49
midwives residing in the Borough gave notice of their intention to
practice during 1935.
Infant Life Protection.
The number of foster-mothers on the Register at the end of the
year was 132, and the children in their care numbered 176.
The officer charged with supervising the welfare of these infants
made 1906 visits to their homes during the year.
5 nurse-children died.
Laboratory Facilities.
Food and Drugs.—The Public Analyst is Mr. A. J. Lickorish,
F.I.C. Details of the analyses carried out during the year will be
found in the section of the Report dealing with inspection and
supervision of food.
