For many years one Inspector has been employed in
house-to-house inspection in such portions of the Borough as
was, from time to time, deemed necsssary. The inspections
are made with the view of discovering any nuisances, or conditions,
prejudicial to the health of the occupants. These
investigations practically cover the details set out in Article II,
of the Housing Regulations, issued by the Local Government
Board in 1910.
The following is a list of the roads in which a systematic inspection was carried out during the year 1911, by the house-to-house Inspector:—
