AMBULANCE FACILITIES
The Greater London Council is responsible, under Section 27 of the
National Health Service Act, 1946, for the provision of the Ambulance Service
in the area.
PUBLIC HEALTH LABORATORY SERVICE
The Public Health Laboratory Service provideds a comprehensive service
for the examination of specimens submitted by Local Authorities and General
Practitioners. The local laboratory is situated in County Hall.
