HOME NURSING
The Lambeth District Nursing Joint Committee continued to provide, on behalf
of the Council, a home nursing service throughout the borough, for which it receives
an appropriate grant from the Council. In addition, service is given in a small area
in the north of the borough by the Catholic Nursing Institute. During the year the
two bodies provided service to 4,722 patients of which 3,712 were newly referred
and the nurses made a total of 146,433 visits.
