During July and August, similar arrangements were made for the Autumn
holidays which took place in September.
In September a Mayoral Party accompanied by the Medical Officer of
health went to Brighton to see the old folk in their holiday accommodation
and also to see the Director of the Company with whom the accommodation
is reserved.
As in previous years many letters of appreciation were received from
the participants in the scheme.
The tables overleaf show the numbers of old folk taken on the Spring and
Autumn holidays, with their ages and parliamentary divisions.
