ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
The following tables show the road traffic accidents occurring
within the Borough of Lambeth during the year 1959 and the comparative
figures and casualties for the period 1954 - 1959,
The figures shown refer not only to Lambeth residents but
also to persons living in other areas who were involved in accidents
in the Borough.
The number of fatalities shown in these tables may not agree,
therefore, with those in the list of causes of death supplied by
the Registrar General, The Registrar General's figures refer to
Lambeth residents only, and the death may have occurred within
the Borough of Lambeth or outside the district.
Once again I have to thank the Town Clerk for his co-operation
and for supplying me with the figures.
