the end of the year was as follows:-

Exhumation Orders
The Home Secretary issued three Orders for the removal of
human remains from graves in the district to others. A public
health inspector was present on each occasion to see that the
terms of the Order were fulfilled and that no nuisance or danger
to the public health was permitted.
