2. Inspection of Pood.
(i) At the Slaughterhous:
No animals were slaughtered here during the year. Six pigs were
slaughtered privately elsewhere in the presence of the food
inspector.
(ii) At shops, stores and factories:
Large quantities of food of all varieties were inspected and
as a result the following weight of food was surrendered as unfit
for human consumption and unsound food certificates were issued
41 tons 19 cwts. 3 qrs. 11¼ lbs.
75 complaints about food were received. 54 of these were
